The
remit of the Board Coordinators is to
- Ensure delivery of DRS across Scotland to national standards
- Review of key performance indicators
- Approve and develop policy for procedures and protocols
The NHS Board Coordinators have delegated responsibility
and accountability for the delivery of the diabetic retinopathy
screening programme in each individual health board area.
